Determining Collar Cover Size
 
Our collar covers are available in four sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, and Large. Determining the proper size for your pet is easy. 


1. Remove your pet's collar. Do not measure the collar while it is on your pet.

2. Depending on the type of collar: (1) measure your collar from inside of the buckle to inside of the clip, or (2) measure from inside the buckle to the hole you normally use to fasten the collar. Our collar covers actually gather on the collar and only covers from the lower left of the neck to the lower right of the neck and not underneath where the tags hang. Take into consideration if long or shorthair. Example: Heavy coats on a Border Collie could be a Medium, but if you keep your pet shaved it could be a Small.

3. Now that you have your pet's collar size. Match your pet's size to one of the following:
    a. X-Small: 5 to 10 inches    b. Small: 11 to 16 inches 
    c. Medium: 17 to 21 inches  d. Large: 22 inches and above.

4. You also need to consider the V-length of the scarf since it is most often worn over the chest area. We're sure you don't want it dragging the ground. Scarf V-lengths are:
    a. X-Small: 5½ inches  b. Small: 7½ inches 
    c. Medium: 9½ inches  d. Large: 10½ inches

X-Small:   Chihuahua. Miniature Dachshunds, Miniature Pinchers, Papillion, Toy Poodles, Yorkies, etc.
Small:   Bichon Frise, Border Collies, Cocker Spaniels, Pekinese, Miniature Schnauzers, Shelties, etc.
Medium:   Collies, Chows, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Pit Bulls, etc.
Large:   English Bull Dogs, German Shepard, Newfoundland, Rottweiler, St. Bernard, etc.
